Swine Flu: Do the pros. of vaccination really outweigh the cons.?

The Swine Flu is getting a lot of attention lately and more and more people are feeling that vaccination is the only way to go. I think it's important that when it comes to getting our kids and ourselves vaccinated, we do so knowing all the facts. There are many issues with the vaccination (and with many other vaccinations) that the general public simply isn't aware of. Hopefully this will help.

This video below is CBS news discussing the risks involved with the Swine Flu vaccine:

http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=5237185n

The first thing to ask is: "Has there really been sufficient time for the vaccine to be tested?" How do we know what the long term side effects will be? The link below discusses this issue.

The second thing to ask is: "How dangerous is the vaccine compared to what were vaccinating against?" This should be considered for any vaccine. The swine flu vaccine has its own risks. See the link below.

Many diseases we're vaccinating against have already been eradicated off the planet but many parents don't realize the potential side effects they are exposing their kids to when they vaccinate for these already eradicated viruses. Is it really worth it? Vaccines have a cocktail of ingredients that will absolutely surprise you. Do the benefits truly outweigh the risks? It's a tough call. Below is a link that shows what is actually in the vaccines we are administering to our kids and what the potential side effects are. Scroll down in the link to see the ingredients.

Below is a list of the common vaccines we vaccinate our children with and their ingredients.

Look for: formaldehyde (we use this on our cadavers at school as a preservative)
aluminum (has been linked to Alzheimer's )
phenoxyethanol (antifreeze)
thimerosal (linked to autism)
Also see that rubella, MMR, hepatitis A, and others are made from aborted fetal tissue. Kind of opens your eyes.

The main things to notice in the link below are the "Chemicals/Heavy metals" column and the "Animal by product" column.

Hopefully this helps. Please let me know if anyone has any questions or would like more information. I know this is a touchy subject and I was debating on wether to even write this blog but I had a lot of people ask me questions about vaccines and their potential side effects including the rise in autism so I hope this helps.

Armour Thyroid vs. Synthroid (they may look similar but the differences will surprise you)

*************************************
I know there's been a lot of us wondering which thyroid replacement is most beneficial so I wanted to post some information I found. I used to take Synthroid but it left me feeling horrible. Then after much pleading with my Dr. I finally talked him into prescribing me Armour Thyroid and the difference was amazing!

Armour Thyroid contains T3 and T4 whereas Synthroid only contains T4. The problem is T4 must be converted into T3 by the body to be active and the reason this is a problem is because certain tissues in the body have a hard time making this conversion so they can't benefit from the hormone. Also T3 is four times more potent than T4 so you need less Armour Thyroid than Synthroid.

As you can read from the articles the government found that Synthroid doesn't remain potent through its expiration date and that tablets of the same dosage strength from the same manufacture have been found to vary in potency from lot to lot. This lack of stability also has the potential to cause serous health consequences.

**The first link talks about the government findings and the benefits of Armour Thyroid.

**The second link is an easy read article about Dr.'s preferring Armour Thyroid.

Let me know what you think and if anyone would like more information I'd love to help.

(p.s. If you are taking any B vitamins like a B-50 complex they greatly enhance the thyroid hormone so it may alter (decrease) the dose you need. Be careful of that.)

Montel Williams Testifies About Chiropractic Helping Him With His Multiple Sclerosis

This is pretty cool. I guess Montel Williams has been suffering from Multiple Sclerosis for years and he describes how you can tell he has it on his show. Multiple Sclerosis is a disease where the body attacks the good fat in the brain that surrounds the neurons. This fat acts like the plastic insulation around wires, if you don't have it and the wires cross you get unintentional impulses firing which causes intense pain. The fat also aids in the speed of the impulse. Anyways, this is a segment of Montel's show and he brings on his chiropractor and shows people how the adjustment actually takes place and he talks of the amazing affects the adjustments have on him. It's pretty cool how it has changed his life.

Children's Hospital explores acupuncture and other alternative therapies.

More and more hospitals are asking alternative health care providers to join their full-time staff. I know that at Utah Valley Hospital they are now using acupuncture to treat cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy as a part of the regular regime. It drastically decreases the nausea associated with chemo. Acupuncture is also used as a form of analgesic or pain blocker. This is a pretty cool article talking of the success they've had with children and acupuncture. It also talks about how acupuncture helped a patient in the hospital suffering from Crohn's disease. Common Cold, Uncommon Nasal Remedy

"I hate it when my nose runs!"
I learned about this remedy early on at school but it's amazing how many people don't know about it. This is a pretty good article describing how and why it works. The only thing it doesn't mention is how it clears up congestion. The salt solution acts as a hypertonic solution that actually sucks the water out of the blood vessels thus relieving the congestive symptoms. If you read the short article this will make more sense. Just right click on the link below and choose "open in new window". I figure this could help alot of people this time of year.
